  11.                NOTE: You WILL need a NEW registration KEY file to run
  12.                this and ALL future versions. You can get a NEW registration
  13.                KEY file by completing the REGISTRATION.FRM file (using the
  14.                same SYSOP NAME and BBS NAME as you did when you registered
  15.                with the prior owner of this Door) and be sure to write at 
  16.                the top of the form in BOLD letters: NEW KEY FILE.

  18.                NOTE: Do NOT request KEYS for any program other than this one!
  19.                      In other words, ONE KEY REQUEST per form!
  20.  
  21.                Forward the completed form (there are 2 pages to the form and
  22.                we need both) to us by any of the following methods:
  23.  
  24.                 (a) EMAIL File Attach  
  25.                     Your KEY file will be sent back the same way    
  26.                 (b) Regular MAIL
  27.                     From the US, supply a SASE envelope with a 3.5 diskette
  28.                     If coming from outside the US, enclose $5.00 US
  29.                 (c) Front-End Mailer
  30.                     Attach the form to a message.
  31.                     KEY file will be placed on HOLD for you to POLL for
  32.                 (d) Upload to my BBS
  33.                     Upload it to the Sunrise-80 BBS, see DOC file for phone #
  34.                     A message will be left for you telling you what the name of
  35.                     the file is that you should download.

  37.                THE PREFERRED METHOD would be EMAIL...

  39.                We MUST be able to verify your prior registration before we
  40.                will issue a new registration KEY file. We will be relying
  41.                on the registration database the previous owner will be
  42.                supplying us.

  46. UPGRADING FROM ANY VERSION TO v1.1a:

  49.    *** IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR UPGRADING BELOW ***
  50.    
  51.    * Fixed a bug that would cause a player to be overwritten in the
  52.      PLAYER.DAT file.  When a user other than the Rebel Leader was at
  53.      the Rebel Alliance Station and chose to write mail to ALL Rebel
  54.      Members, if they then just hit ENTER, deciding not to write
  55.      anything, they were not getting their stats back properly and would
  56.      assume the last player in the PLAYER.DAT file's stats.  Thanks to
  57.      my Wife for finding this obscure one.

  59.    * I have been waiting to see if there were any other problems before
  60.      fixing this other bug I have known about for awhile.  Nothing major
  61.      but it bugged ME just the same.  When a user transferred Kroons to
  62.      another Rebel Member, the other Rebel Member would be set to being
  63.      online, while they were not.  This little guy has now been fixed
  64.      as well.

  66.    * Now the upgrading...

  68.         Move UMN.DAT to a TEMP directory for now.  Move the PENTV11.EXE
  69.         archive into your PENTASIM directory and run it.  When it asks if
  70.         you want to overwrite the first file, answer "A" to overwrite ALL
  71.         files.  YOUR CURRENT GAME WILL NOT BE EFFECTED!

  73.         Move your UMN.DAT file, BACK into your PENTASIM directory, 
  74.         overwriting the one that came with the archive.  That's it!
